7 habits for a productive / relaxing night routine
Everyone's night routine is different but in my opinion, there are some good habits for a productive/relaxing night routine. Yes, I'm listing habits for both types of night routines. Hope you guys find useful!!
⇢ PRODUCTIVE
➴ Prioritize your tasks
Always write a to-do list. It will keep you on track with what needs to be done.
As long as a certain task: takes a lot of time to complete/ is difficult/ is dreaded/ has the closest deadline - you HAVE to do it first. Yes, I know it sucks, but trust me when I say that you'll feel extremely relieved once you complete it. The rest of the tasks on your to-do list doesn't seem to scare you or stress you out anymore- not when you already finished the most "challenging" or "intimidating" one.
➴Organize
Most people clean their house/rooms during the day, right? I feel that arranging and sorting things during the night seems suitable, If you already tidied up your furniture but still want to further tidy up your house, choose to do some light cleaning instead.
For example, arrange the books on your bookshelves by color or alphabetical order (the color order is very satisfying. Tried it while back and my bookshelf is now a pretty rainbow) or reorganize your makeup and other beauty products or sort out the clothes in your closet.
➴ Remember to take breaks
If possible, set 10-15 breaks in between your tasks to stretch, snack on something or just walk around.
But more importantly, set a time where you stop work completely. Do not work until about 2-4 in the morning!! It is very crucial that you try to sleep as much as possible, so, please know when to stop overworking yourself as well.

➷Record your day~
Journal it down. Include whatever thoughts you have. Share what you achieved. Write how you felt that day. Spill everything onto paper.
➷ Do what you love
I'm sure everyone wants more time for this one. if you're stressed out/ anxious/ overwhelmed or simply just need to clear your head for a while, do what you love. Like journaling, it'll help immensely. Catching up on your favorite tv shows, singing aloud to your favorite songs, write, draw, reading, gaming, playing a musical instrument, the list goes on.
Make lists
➷Make lists
I know what you're thinking - you want to relax, not work. I get it. What means is to make lists for your future - goals, bucket list, traveling plans, wishlist, etc...
You can even make digital lists and set one as your phone home screen/ lock screen so that whether you wake up in the morning or before going to sleep at night, you're reminded of the things you want to achieve or accomplish. it's a good way of keeping you on track because you will see that list so much that you'll be motivated to keep working towards it. Unwind
➷Unwind
This is similar to 'do what you love'. But that differs for everyone. This, however, are things that everyone should try out every so often!! Strongly recommended.
To unwind, you can take a bubble bath, bake, dance around the room, binge-watch Netflix, meditate, do yoga, etc! Do simple things that can help you rest your mind and instantly put you in a good mood for the rest of the night.
